If my dedicated GPU memory is measured in MB and not GB would I still multiply that number by 1024? For example, mine is 512 MB so would I take the 512 and multiply by 1024 and put the whole answer in the graphics rules maker?

I desperately need help setting up my Sims 3 games but I have no idea what I’m doing with all the technical stuff… could you suggest anywhere that would really help? I’ve been researching but it’s all become so confusing 😞

Is it just me who had their tonsils removed? As a baby and toddler I used to get constant tonsillitis and mine got removed when I was 3, never had issues since and I'm nearly 22. I know that tonsils form part of your immune system but they seem to cause more issues than good.

i STILL had bloom even after disabling the shader preset for it. i realized in the Sims 3 graphics menu, there's an "enable advanced rendering/shading" or whatever "uses 2.0 shaders". I turned that off, and all the bloom was gone! apparently sims 3 had bloom in it by default. the brights were just a LITTLE too bright for me, but now it looks awesome! EDIT: oh, but it also disables the shadows like for trees. barf on maxis for not having individual options!

I can't seem to get GRM to find the game path? :/ I followed and got the game from part 1 of your guide. When trying to select the path, I've tried checking where the game is located. It is in Program Files (x86)/The Sims Starter Pack/Fun with Pets/SP9/TSBin. However, when I choose this and click Locate Game, it just says "Directory does not exist". (It also changes the path's name to suddenly read Program Files (x86)/The Sims Starter Pack/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/SP9 without me doing anything??) Does anyone know how to fix this? Can't seem to find the answer anywhere... :(

Is anyone having issues with cc now showing up? I’ve followed along and have reshade working fine. I do use Sims2RPC to run the game. But for some reason all the cc/mods I downloaded aren’t showing up in game. Any idea on how to fix this? I tried doing the body shop method but that didn’t work

I was having such a hard time following along but I finally got reshade to work! I was missing the George patch so the launcher wouldn’t load the game but I finally got it to work. The whole video after that was a breeze. Thank you so much for posting this! My computer can’t handle the sims 4 with all the must have mods and I can’t play the game without them so I gave up. But now I can indulge in the sims 2 since it runs smoothly on my pc!

For the split wall in the house, I would put a full wall. Just a couple squares. You could even put a full wall also in the conner so it boxes it off a little. I'm not a commenter, but I built a lot in the sims and instantly saw a solution.

I once saw a more complex aspiration system somewhere where each aspiration is divided into a few categories depending on a sim's personality. So for example romance sims can be platonic romantics and they don't roll woohoo wishes that often if not at all. I can try to find it if you're interested

still not so good, npc should be ai, not just let us pick a line for conversation, this is stupid and outdate. what I want is, those npc can have their own life while we are online in game and can have conversation when i type something or say something. it would be more better if it mmorpg.
